Ultrasonic Examination is a non-destructive testing method used to control conditions such as material and paint thickness, defects and irregularities by transferring high frequency sound waves to the area to be inspected.
These sound waves are sent to the area to be examined and travel in a straight line at a constant speed until they hit the surface. If the sound waves hit any obstacles as they travel, they are reflected. Depending on the angle of impact, the signals received by the probe can be displayed on the device screen and it is possible to comment on the examination piece.
